Kaduva
Kaduva (transl. Tiger) is a 2022 Indian Malayalam-language action film directed by Shaji Kailas, written by Jinu V. Abraham and produced by Prithviraj Productions and Magic Frames. It stars Prithviraj Sukumaran in the titular role alongside Vivek Oberoi. Set in 1990s, the plot revolves around an ego war between influential businessman Kaduvakunnel Kuriyachan and I.G. Joseph Chandy.\n\nPrincipal photography took place from April 2021 to March 2022 at Pala, Aruvithura, Vandiperiyar, Mundakkayam and Ernakulam. Jakes Bejoy composed the original songs and film score.\n\nKaduva was released on 7 July 2022 and received mixed reviews from critics. The film became the third-highest-grossing Malayalam film of 2022 by grossing over ₹50 crore at the box office. It was also marks actor Innocent's last feature film, which was not a posthumous release.
Kooman
Kooman (transl. Owl) is a 2022 Indian Malayalam-language mystery thriller film directed by Jeethu Joseph, written by K. R. Krishna Kumar and jointly produced by Listin Stephen and Allwin Antony. The film stars Asif Ali, with Renji Panicker, Jaffar Idukki, Baburaj, Hannah Reji Koshy, and Meghanathan. The plot follows Giri Shankar, a C.P.O. disregarded by his colleagues and looked upon with contempt by his villagers, as he takes revenge for a humiliating incident, his life turns upside down.The original background score and a song was composed by Vishnu Shyam.Principal photography began in February 2022. Kooman was released in theatres on 4 November 2022 to critical acclaim from critics and audiences. The film was a commercial success at the box office.
Gold
Gold is an 2022 Indian Malayalam-language comedy drama film written, directed and edited by Alphonse Puthren. It was jointly produced by Supriya Menon of Prithviraj Productions and Listin Stephen of Magic Frames. The film stars Prithviraj Sukumaran and Nayanthara, along with an ensemble supporting cast of Deepti Sati, Mallika Sukumaran, Lalu Alex, Ajmal Ameer, Baburaj, Shammi Thilakan, Shanthi Krishna, Jagadish, Krishna Sankar, Roshan Mathew, Vinay Forrt, Shabareesh Varma and Saiju Kurup. In addition to writing, editing and directing the film, Puthren also worked on the stunt choreography, visual effects, color grading, and animation titles of the film. It marks his return to direction after seven years since Premam (2015). Principal photography commenced in September 2021 and ended in June 2022. Initially set for worldwide theatrical release during Onam, in September 2022, it was deferred due to delays in the post-production and eventually opened in theatres on 1 December 2022, where it received mixed-to-negative reviews from critics and became a box-office bomb
