Ayisha is a 2023 Indian bilingual biographical film based on the life of Nilambur Ayisha, directed by Aamir Pallikkal and produced by Zakariya Mohammed under Cross Border Cinema. The movie features Manju Warrier and Mona Tawil in lead roles, while Krishna Sankar and Radhika plays important supporting roles. It was released on 20 January 2023. It was shot simultaneously in Malayalam and Arabic languages.Upon release it disappointed at the box office.

Thuramukham
Thuramukham (transl. Harbour) is a 2023 Indian Malayalam-language period drama film directed and filmed by Rajeev Ravi and written by Gopan Chidambaran. It is based on the play of the same name by K. M. Chidambaran, Ravi's father. The film stars Nivin Pauly, Indrajith Sukumaran, Joju George, Arjun Ashokan, Sudev Nair, Manikandan R. Achari, Senthil Krishna, Nimisha Sajayan, Poornima Indrajith and Darshana Rajendran in prominent roles. In the film, the harbor workers protest against the Chappa labor allocation system practiced during the 1940s and 50s in Cochin district of Kerala. After multiple delays, Thuramukham was theatrically released on 10 March 2023.
Corona Dhavan
Corona Dhavan is a 2023 Indian Malayalam-language comedy film directed by C.C. Nithin in his directorial debut and written by Sujai Mohanraj. The film stars Lukman Avaran and Sreenath Bhasi in the lead roles, with Johny Antony, Irshad Ali, Sruthy Jayan, Seema G. Nair, Dharmajan Bolgatty, Shivaji Guruvayoor, and Sunil Sukhada in the supporting cast. The story is set in a village named 'Anathadam' and revolves around a group of alcoholics who face difficulties getting liquor during the COVID-19 lockdown. Corona Dhavan is produced by James John and Jerome John under the banner of James & Jerome Productions. The cinematography and editing are handled by Janeesh Jayanandan and Ajeesh Anand. The music is composed by Riji Joseph, while the background score is by Bibin Ashok. The original title of the film was Corona Jawan, but the Central Board of Film Certification asked that it be altered. The film was released in theatres on 4 August 2023 to mixed response.
